Our Aural MAT Practice Tests are recommended for those students applying to schools that use aural perception tests as part of their music aptitude testing process. They include: melodic memory, pitch, rhythm, the main elements of music and musical awareness and sensitivity tests. Commonly known as Enhanced Music Aptitude Tests, our Aural MAT Tests can be used in tandem with our Standard MAT and Graphic Score MAT Practice Tests for thorough preparation.
Working in collaboration with our colleague Stephen Barchan, we also offer Music Aptitude 1 to 1 sessions for students applying to schools which use aural perception, musical awareness and sensitivity tests as part of their music aptitude testing process. Graphic Score MAT Practice Tests
A single Graphic Score MAT Practice Test comprising 60 questions in 7 test sections: Pitch, Shape, Volume, Lengths of Sound, Texture, Speed, Mood and Emotion and includes a separate question and answer sheet. Written in the style and format of the Ashmole Academy Music Aptitude Test, our Graphic Score MAT Test is compatible with the St Marylebone C of E School Music Aptitude Test and schools throughout the UK that use Graphic Score MAT Tests as part of their music aptitude testing process. Can be used in tandem with our Standard MAT and Enhanced Aural MAT Practice Tests.
