The Music Aptitude Test does not assess a child’s current abilities but rather their propensity to acquire competencies in these areas in the future and seek to determine a child’s aptitude towards developing these skills.
The Hockerill Music Aptitude Test seeks to determine aptitude by testing students are on pitch, rhythm, musical sensitivity and the elements of music.
